Yes. Your phone will work with a Dodo SIM if it is unlocked, supports 4G (LTE) or 5G, and is running the latest software updates.

eSIM:
The time it takes to receive your eSIM QR code depends on whether you’re bringing your existing number or getting a new number. In all cases, ensure your phone is connected to a stable, secure Wi Fi connection during setup.

Your service is activated in the background once you place your order. When it’s ready, we’ll send you a QR code straight away, transferring your number may take up to 4 hours - simply scan it on your phone to finish setup and start using your service.

 

Physical Sim Card:
You will receive a confirmation email when your SIM is dispatched. It will arrive via Priority Post within 1-4 business days after dispatch. Please check Australia Post for accurate timeframes relevant to your location.

Most successful number transfers are instant but may take up to 4 hours.

Transfers are completed between the following timeframes:

  • Monday - Friday: 8am - 8pm (AEST)
  • Saturdays: 10am - 6pm (AEST) 

Note. Except on national public holidays.

For requests outside of these hours, your service will remain active with your existing provider until the next day. 

An eSIM is a digital SIM already built into your phone. Instead of inserting a physical SIM card, you complete your activation of service through a QR code. This means faster activation, no SIM delivery, and no need to swap SIM cards.
Most phones released from 2019–2020 onwards support eSIM. Your phone must be eSIM compatible to use this option. This service is not compatible with smartwatches.
