Residential

This is the basic tariff/rate for general domestic usage such as lights and power outlets. Most domestic customers are supplied under this network tariff. This tariff has a fixed daily charge and an energy usage charge that applies 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Controlled Load 31 (Super Eco)

Applicable to permanently connected equipment such as electric storage water heaters, solar water heaters, heatpump water heaters and heatbanks. Supply will be available for a minimum 8 hours per day, at the absolute discretion of the distributor, but generally between 10pm and 7am.

Controlled Load 33 (Economy)

Applicable to permanently connected equipment such as electric storage water heaters, solar water heaters and heatpump water heater. Supply will be available for a minimum 18 hours per day, at the absolute discretion of the distributor.

Your NMI is a unique 11 digit number that identifies the metering at your premise and ensures that you are billed correctly. All electricity bills must include your NMI and it is usually located with the metering information on your bill and in Victoria it will start with the number 6.

Where does GreenPower come from?

It comes from energy sourced from the sun, wind, water and waste, which produce no greenhouse gas emissions. It is bought by your energy provider on your behalf. Only GreenPower is government Accredited Renewable Energy.

How do I know it is GreenPower?

How do I know my Dodo Power & Gas is purchasing GreenPower on my behalf?

By accessing their sales and purchase records, the Government makes sure retailers are buying renewable energy on your behalf.

For example: If you buy 100% Dodo GreenPower, you can abate all of your household's electricity consumption with renewable energy. This energy is added to Australia's electricity grids. The more people who choose to buy GreenPower, the more renewable energy Australia can produce.

How do I choose Dodo GreenPower?

Just select the Dodo GreenPower option you want in the Dodo Electricity offer and contract web pages, and Dodo GreenPower will be added to your Dodo Electricity Account when you transfer to Dodo Power and Gas.

I am already a Dodo Power & Gas customer can I switch to Dodo GreenPower?

Call us on 13 dodo (13 36 36) and we can arrange for your Dodo GreenPower choice to be added to your Dodo Electricity account.

How much does Dodo GreenPower cost?

Dodo Green Power is charged at 0.099 cents per kWh inc GST. You choose either 10% or 100% of your Electricity Usage to be GreenPower Accredited Renewable Energy.We will bill you for the additional Dodo GreenPower costs with your normal electricity account.

Is my Dodo Green Power included in my Pay on Time Discount?

No. The Pay on Time Discount does not apply to Dodo GreenPower costs.

Residential gas meters

Residential (General Domestic) gas meters are used to measure all gas used at a property. There is only one type of gas meter for residential customers. Residential gas tariffs have both peak gas and off peak gas periods with corresponding rates. Peak Periods are during the colder months, and off peak periods are during the warmer months, and the start and end dates for the peak and off peak periods vary depending on your distributor, and displayed on Price Fact Sheets.

Residential gas meters

Residential (General Domestic) gas meters are used to measure all gas used at a property. There is only one type of gas meter for residential customers.

The Meter Installation Registration Number (MIRN) provides a unique identifier used by gas retailers and distributors to identify the gas supply point (meter) at your property.

We will ask you for your MIRN if you choose to transfer your gas supply to Dodo.

Your current gas retailer is required to provide the MIRN for your property on your gas bill. The MIRN is usually located in gas meter and property details section of your bill.
