NBN VoIP

Once a NBN VoIP service is provisioned it will automatically configure the user details into the modem once they are completed the Phone light on the front of the Modem will be green indication the service is registered. Your will need to connect your phone into Phone 1 or Phone 2 once you pick up the phone the Phone light on the back will light up when in use.

NBN VoIP Troubleshooting

If you are porting your number across to NBN you will receive a SMS to confirm your VoIP service is completed

 

Phone service is not registered (Unable to make or receive calls)

Modem Symptoms

  • Green Status light
  • Green Broadband light
  • Red / Off Phone light

 

Steps
1. Power cycle your modem

2. Hard reset modem ( reset button located on the back of the router hold for 20 seconds)

Please be advised once you hard reset your modem it will return all the settings back to default

No Dial Tone Phone 1 and Phone 2 are off 

Modem Symptoms 

  • Green Status light 
  • Green Broadband light 
  • Phone light Green 
  • Phone 1 / Phone 2 lights on the back of the router are off

 

Steps

1. Ensure you have a Phone connected to the Phone 1 or Phone 2 port on the back of the Router

2. Remove any filters or splitters as these are no longer required

3. Try alternative phone and phone cable

4. Power cycle modem

 

If the above does not work please contact our technical support 

 

No Dial Tone Phone 1 and Phone 2 are remaining on

Modem Symptoms

Steps
Scenario A

1. Remove any phones and cables from Phone 1 and Phone 2 port if the phone Lights on the back of the router remain on please power cycle your Dodo Go hub if the lights still remain on please contact our DODO Technical Support Team


Scenario B

1. Remove any Phones and cables from Phone 1 and Phone 2 ports if the Phone lights on the back of the router go out.

The Phone 1 / Phone 2 lights will only light up when the phone is in use
2. Ensure no ADSL filters or ADSL splitters are being used

3. Try another Phone cable

4. Try another Phone
