Japan/Tokyo Single trip 2006
Japan is sweet. Japanese are the nicest people in the world. So polite and sincere.
I really can't say that much about Tokyo. I was only there for 24 hours, and I spent much of that time HEAVILY intoxicated. I know I flew into Tokyo Narita International Airport, and it is the nicest airport I have ever been in. Then my friend picked me up and the beers just started flowing until about the time I departed. Gotta love that Asahi super dry. Goes down smooth.
I do remember several things. One - you can smoke cigarettes pretty much everywhere. I even remember being in an arcade and smoking. Two - the taxi cab doors open and shut by themselves... very strange. Three - the Japaneses people love foreigners. Four - everything is very neat, clean and safe.
Definitely worth visiting. I am dying to get back. The people are just sooo nice.
