UK/Loch Ranoch Culture and study trip 2005
Used our time share for accomodation in Kin Loch Ranoch. Hired a car to travel. (Roads are excellent, and they drive on the same side of the road as Australians. Bonus!) Loch Ranoch is very beautiful. Stayed in winter, great time for Australians, even got 'snowed in' and had to be snow ploughed out. Brilliant! Loved it. Drove to Dundee, Perth, Pitlochry, Inverness, Culloden, along Loch Ness to Fort William, through Stirling, (checked out William Wallace's monument and Stirling Castle - brilliant views)on to Glasgow then flew to Ireland. Scotland was like coming home. Loved everything, found that a week was far too short and need to devote a whole vacation to just exploring Scotland. Scots are warm and friendly (it was like visiting long lost relatives) Definately going back.
