Introduction
Edinburgh is a city where ancient history meets modern times. On the one hand you have the towering Edinburgh Castle with some architecture dating back to Roman times, and on the other you have a bustling nightlife full of pubs, dancing and drinking. Located in Southwestern Scotland on the North Sea, this capital city has a population of about 448,000 and a temperate maritime climate with mild winters and cool summers.
